A free, independent study resource built for anyone preparing to take the IELTS test.
IELTS Test Practice Pro was created to give test-takers a single, organised place to practise all four sections of the IELTS exam — Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing — without needing to sign up for an account or pay for access.
The site is built around four skill sections, each following the same structure:
All of the passages, transcripts, questions, and prompts on this site are original content, written specifically to mirror the style, format, and difficulty of the real IELTS test. Reading and Listening practice sets are interactive, giving you an immediate score and explanation for every question. Speaking and Writing sections work differently, since these skills can't be automatically graded — instead, we provide a large, searchable library of realistic prompts alongside guidance on how examiners assess spoken and written responses.
This site is designed for IELTS candidates preparing for either the Academic or General Training version of the test, at any starting level, who want extra practice material beyond what's included in a single textbook or course. It's a supplement to, not a replacement for, structured study, official practice materials, and — where possible — feedback from a qualified teacher, particularly for Speaking and Writing.
We've done our best to ensure every practice question is accurate and clearly explained, but this is an independent study resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to IELTS, the British Council, IDP, or Cambridge Assessment English in any way. For official test information, always refer to the official IELTS website.
